Copyright Policy

1. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content available through News Toast infringes your copyright, you may submit a written Copyright Infringement Notice containing the following information:

Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
Identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location within News Toast
Your full name and contact information
A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, agent, or law
A statement that the information provided is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
Your physical or electronic signature

2. DMCA Notice Submission

3. Review and Removal Process

Upon receipt of a valid copyright complaint, News Toast may:

Investigate the reported content
Remove or disable access to the content
Notify the content provider or source where appropriate
Take additional action as required by law

4. Counter-Notification

If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a Counter-Notification containing: identification of removed content, your contact information, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal resulted from a mistake or misidentification, consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts, and your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receipt of a valid Counter-Notification, News Toast may restore the content unless legal proceedings are initiated by the copyright claimant.

5. Repeat Infringers

News Toast reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts and access for individuals or entities repeatedly found to violate copyright laws.

6. Third-Party Publisher Rights

News Toast may aggregate and summarize publicly available news content. Ownership of original articles, images, trademarks, logos, and other copyrighted materials remains with their respective publishers and copyright owners.

7. Policy Updates

News Toast may update this Copyright Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on our website and within the application.
